well, a bike like this is quality enough to ride pretty much whatever you want it to. In it's day it was a purebred dh racing bike, but it is definately sturdy enough and has enough flexibility in the geometry to accomodate most anything you would want to set it up for. I believe Tyler Morland used to ride one in the old (I think it was NWD) flicks he was in.

Not sure of the exact weigh in, but it would be in the range of 40-43lbs maybe 45lbs. It is a nice light race bike.

keep in mind that this photo is not the exact build (read the ad), and if you still think its overpriced, make me an offer.

fyi: stanchion damage is cosmetic. there was damage (happened on first ride on fork too ) but repairs were made and scratch was filled. What you see is cosemtic only, stanchion is filled and smoothed, just missing color. NO physical/functional damage present anymore.
